Weve been a part of the Tasmanian community for over 99 years, providing roadside assistance, vehicle, home and contents insurance, personal and car loans and driver education.

Our purpose hasn’t changed – we’re here to support the lives of Tasmanians.

We engage in consumer advocacy, particularly regarding Tasmanian petrol prices, which are both historically and recently higher than in other parts of Australia.

Our Fuel Saver app is a step towards fairer fuel pricing. It gives RACT members and the broader Tasmanian community more opportunities to shop around and buy the cheapest fuel. This leads to greater fuel retailer accountability, which helps put downward pressure on prices.
